Traffic chaos in store

Get ready for another round traffic jams and inconveniences while commuting. The metro rail works have begun and in three years time the commuting problems will be solved, so says the government. The hidden message is that for three years there will be digging and barricades and take diversion boards all over the city which will send the traffic awry.
We have seen the diversions and jams during the flyover to Shamshabad airport and outer ring road. After bearing the brunt for over an year, the authorities decided that no two wheelers or buses will be permitted on the newly built infrastructure. It is meant only for people who will be travelling by air and car, so sad. There were a couple of two-wheeler accidents on the ORR and celebrity kids still use it though two wheelers are banned on the ORR.
Now, for a minimum period of three years traffic will move on a snail’s pace at various places and for varied reasons, so be ready for the inconvenience.
