State leaders have gone to Delhi to put in their version of the causes for defeat of Congress in the recent by-polls. Surprisingly many of them did not even campaign for the party during polls. More surprisingly, the Delhi durbar has given a patient hearing to many of them. There are varied versions, of course. State Congress President, Chiranjeevi, V Hanumantha Rao were on TV telling different things at different times.
Chief Minister, however, is maintaining a low profile for whatever reason. The August crisis will continue to haunt the State as some major changes are likely to be taken by then. Who will be what or what is in store for whom is something depends on the whimsical decisions of the Congress High Command. Till then the anxiety levels keep rising for the locals.
